Better city, better lifegepostet am 10. March 2010 um 18:31...is the motto of this year\'s EXPO in China. I know that many pavilions have given themselves a sub-theme, such as Austria\'s \"Senses in harmony\". How will we implement this theme? We have planned interactive walls and floors, which we can extensively and interactively play moving images on using audio-visual resources. Right at the start, the visitor enters the theme area of winter and mountains, where a true snow slope awaits. Visitors will make snowballs from real snow, and can throw these at the slope, which recognises the impact using cutting-edge laser sensors, and changes the projections on the slope. In this way, the visitor can make virtual skiers fall over, or trigger avalanches, and start films in the theme\'s context. An appropriate sound backdrop makes it all \"real\". Then visitors come to the main theme of woodland, and then water; the floor, wall and ceiling are transposed into Austria\'s woodland and lake landscapes through full-surface projections. Leaves will whirl about on the autumn forest floor, mushrooms and flowers grow along the visitors\' tracks. Hunters and foresters appear in the woods and, depending on the season, leaves or snow flutter down from the trees, all by touching the wall! The road to this point is still long; the plans are still on paper or in the computer, and the completed walls are still bare. www.expoaustria.at |
